For a good few months now I didn’t leave the house much other than to get some groceries. The forest is practically off-limits, the city is hostile and drivers are agressive, the lake is boring. If my trip wasn’t coming up in two weeks I don’t know how I would survive the winter. Anyway…
This month I got a new phone - again. I sold the Huawei P40 Pro because of its inconsistent camera results and got a Xiaomi Mi 11. This one is much more consistent, less locked down, basically in line of what I’m used to. It also has a macro camera, like the one on my Redmi, but instead of the wide angle view, it has a 50mm equivalent focal length. They call it tele-macro on some of their phones. This makes it much more capable and a whole lot of fun to use. Sadly it’s only 5MPixels and can only record 1080p30 video, but the results are still great. There’s a whole lot of nature to explore around the house in a new light, here are some examples.
