There’s been a lot going on in the neighborhood preventing me from going out as much as I want. There’ve been shootings almost every night for a straight 2 months, basically cutting everyone off from the forests. I can’t even use my drone without border police harassing me… The weather’s been very changeable between monsoon-like rains and window-melting heat waves.
On the plus side, there are barely 3 months until my almost 1.5-month-long vacation to Spain. I got a new phone to better be able to document what I see there, which I’m still figuring out how to handle properly. It’s a Huawei P40 Pro, mainly got it for the periscope zoom lens and its slow-motion capabilities, both of which I’m very happy with.
I keep thinking I should take on another home project, like the motion detector or the fire locator, but nothing interesting comes to mind. Maybe something for the Perseids?
