Lately, I’ve been experimenting with adding a “touch” of blue to the shadows on my photos. It works really well in dark environments at night with spotlights, but it also gives an interesting look to daytime photos as well. A large aperture at a standard field of view also gives this effect. Also, autumn is coming with lots of rain which again looks great in this setting. Sadly not many examples of that yet.
These are all taken with the Sony A5000, Zhongyi Lens Turbo II, and the Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 Ais.
